BCAA Group Affinity Program Update
by David O'Neill
|
Well, we're off to the races with the BCAA Group Affinity program (though none of us are racing because that would invalidate our insurance, right!). To cut to the chase, the club earned $14.88 in royalties in our first part-year of involvement. Not bad, I say. Now all we need is for the remaining club members who have not brought their BCAA membership in under the Club plan to do so, which will increase our revenue a bit more. For more information on joining, please see the link off our website at http://www.vancouverminiclub.ca, We are hoping to increase our revenue stream by
having club members roll in their existing BCAA memberships (no
extra cost, but a benefit to the club!), encouraging members to get
roadside coverage through BCAA, and encouraging members to consider
using BCAA's travel and insurance services. The club does get
discounts on all fronts, just ask the BCAA representative and they
will be able to explain it to you. As a side note, BCAA is
prohibited by Law to provide to us royalties for vehicle and life
insurance purchased through them. However, having your home or
tenant insurance through the plan would generate income for the
club. If you have questions which would be better answered by myself
instead of the BCAA representative, please don't hesitate to email
me at:
