Bowling Night

It's on. It's not. It's cancelled. It's not. The status of the Dine 'n Dash/Bowling Night changed repeatedly up until the last minute. Procrastination in the reservation department left us out in the cold for a lane due to league night. Plans were subsequently revised to a short drive and then dinner.

Come drive time, club member attendance was low, but Mini attendance was even lower . . . ‘round about zero. This was most likely due to the pouring rain. Since a drive in a bunch of brand Xs is about as inspiring as an all you can eat tofu buffet, we checked inside and were able to get a 5 pin lane with relative ease. This would prove much easier for the kids and, honestly, most of the adults too.

The elder Suttons spectated while the Malins and Dos Santos families took to battering the lanes. Erin took to the bowling right away but Thomas and Martina were a little reluctant. They eventually warmed up to the process and had a great time. Afterward everyone headed over to the Spaghetti Factory where we were joined by Christine Fram with daughter Brianna and Pat Tillapaugh and friend Becky.

The service was great at the Factory but unfortunately on this visit the food slightly less than stellar; oh well, maybe the chef was having an off day. Despite this, it was a good time all around.
